Who’s Slave am I?

Scripture: Romans 6: [16] Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey–whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Observation: I want to be Jesus bond servant, a slave to my Lord, but so many of the times I become a slave to my thoughts. I worry so much anymore that at times I want to give up and just go home. I become a slave to sin and I know it must please Satan to see at times that he is winning. There is no reason for my negative thoughts and actions God is with me always and He has protected me every day and has answered my prayers.

Application: I need to be a slave to God and as a slave obey my master. He tells me not to fear, not to worry, to trust in Him and that the battle is His and He will always be with me. I need to stop and listen to the voice of my Master and embrace Him each day.

Prayer: Dear Lord help me obey You and that I may hear your voice when you speak to me. I freely give you this life as a living sacrifice, may it glorify you.
