Scripture: Hebrews 4: [16] Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.<\/p>\n
Observation: There is something I lack is confidence, but not confidence in myself but confidence in God. The creator of all things, the one who protects me each day and supplies my needs, how can I not have confidence in him? Maybe because I\u2019m so wrapped up in myself I can\u2019t see beyond that. I\u2019ve just been laid off with no job prospects at this moment, we will most likely lose our home, unless God has other plans. I need God\u2019s mercy and grace more than ever and I should be confident in him that his will, will be done in my life.<\/p>\n
Application: I need to approach the throne and ask for God\u2019s will in my life. Not a job that I think will make me secure, but the guidance to fulfill the purpose God has created me for. If I\u2019m obedient and pray, read and do good works in his name God will bless me and it may not be with riches in this world, but treasures built up in heaven.<\/p>\n
Prayer: Dear Lord I talk a good game, but I\u2019m scared as always. My lack of faith is obvious. Increase my faith, grow me closer to you that I may hear your voice guiding me through this darkness into your light. I do love you more than anything and I realize I don\u2019t show you that love as often as I should. Help me be the man after your own heart.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
