Scripture Job 11:7 “Can you search out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limits of the Almighty? <\/p>\n
Observation: I don\u2019t know why I think at times that I know better than God. I know what God\u2019s word says in different situations I\u2019m in and I try to reason with myself that there might be an exception and that God didn\u2019t really mean that or me. I want what I want and I\u2019ll try to change the rules to get it and pretend God is approving or He\u2019ll understand. God has set His commands for a reason and that reason is that He loves us despite all the wrongs we do. God knows it all, there is no exceptions and He wants us to do what is right so He guides us gently through this life. It\u2019s up to us to accept His guidance or rebel and do our own thing.<\/p>\n
Application: I keep trying to get my own way, which is typically the wrong way. I pretend to think I know more than I do and to make excuses why my way is the right way. I need to stop and be totally committed to God\u2019s ways for my life. To accept that He is my Lord and the ruler of my life and to follow Him completely. I need to give in and accept that I can\u2019t even come close to knowing more than my Lord about anything. <\/p>\n
Prayer: Dear Lord forgive me for my arrogance and guide me to do what is of you. You are the ruler of my life and I want to be obedient in everything. I need you, because my arrogance and pride override my good judgment to follow you with all of my heart, mind and soul. I love you and what to draw closer to you the rest of my life here and for all eternity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
