Scripture Isaiah 24:5The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
\nBecause they have transgressed the laws,
\nChanged the ordinance,
\nBroken the everlasting covenant. <\/p>\n
Observation: We are in the situation that we are in because of what we have done. We don\u2019t obey God\u2019s commands and when we don\u2019t feel like obeying them, we change them to suit our desires and not God\u2019s. We\u2019ve had broken God\u2019s covenant and we are paying the price of our disobedience. <\/p>\n
Application: It\u2019s time for us to draw closer to God. To read and understand His Word and obey it. I need to be a better example of what God desires of His children. I need to study more and understand my Lord\u2019s will for my life and the purpose I have in Him.<\/p>\n
Prayer: Dear Lord I beg for your forgiveness and I ask for your guidance. Open our eyes to you again that we will repent as a nation and seek you with all of our heart.
