Scripture Ezekiel 24:16 \u201cSon of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down. <\/p>\n
Observation: We continue to desire the things of this world instead of seeking God. All that we see and have on this earth will be taken away, but if we seek God and His purpose for our lives, we will build up treasures in heaven that we\u2019ll have forever. With everything that is happening now people are losing what they worked for and are falling into depression instead of asking God for direction. <\/p>\n
Application: Currently I don\u2019t have a job and my last unemployment check is coming. I\u2019m worried about losing some of the things that I\u2019ve accumulated here on this earth and the luxuries that I have instead of focusing on what God wants me to do. I need to be responsible for taking care of my wife, but the Lord\u2019s calling is the most important thing in my life.<\/p>\n
Prayer My Lord you have always taken care of your servant. Use this time you have blessed me with to do your will and desire. I\u2019m here only until you call me home, may this time glorify you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
