Scripture Amos 8:11 \u201cBehold, the days are coming,\u201d says the Lord GOD,
\n\u201cThat I will send a famine on the land,
\nNot a famine of bread,
\nNor a thirst for water,
\nBut of hearing the words of the LORD. <\/p>\n
Observation: We are in that famine now. No one hears the word of God and few are even listening for it. God\u2019s word has always been available to us and we have access any time we want. But we don\u2019t listen. Our world has ignored God for such a long time, why should He speak to us now. I\u2019m still confused why God doesn\u2019t end it now, but not my will His be done.<\/p>\n
Application: I need to listen more carefully to what God is saying to me. I can\u2019t just read God\u2019s word but I need to study and obey. I do feel we are getting closer to going home, but that\u2019s only a feeling and nothing that God has said. I need to continue to be in God\u2019s word and obey.<\/p>\n
Prayer Dear Lord please speak to your servant and command me on the mission You have set before me. Give me a peaceful mind so that I may hear your words.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
