Scripture John 19:30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, \u201cIt is finished!\u201d And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. <\/p>\n
Observation: Jesus\u2019 work was completed. He took our sins unto himself so that we may have eternal life. We owe Jesus everything, but how much do we give Him? Jesus knew we could never repay Him for such a gift, He gave it out of love. There are things I owe such as obedience to God\u2019s commandments. Jesus said the greatest one was to love the Lord your God with all of your heart, mind and soul and that the second is to love others as you love yourself. <\/p>\n
Application: Each day I need to have God\u2019s commandments and word in my heart. Each day is new and if I fell short yesterday this day is new and I strive to be better. God deserves my best and even though it will never be enough it glorifies Him as I try.<\/p>\n
Prayer My Lord I\u2019m yours and I thank you that You finished the work on the cross so that I can be with You when You call me. Grow me closer to You and open my eyes to the things that will please You.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
