Scripture 2 Corinthians 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. <\/p>\n
Observation: Before Jesus entered my life I didn\u2019t give anyone anything. I was very selfish with my money and time. That was one of the first things the Holy Spirit did in me was to give me a giving heart. Since then, I\u2019ve been faithful to give and that giving has brought me joy and no matter what I go through God makes sure my needs are met. <\/p>\n
Application: I need to seek the needs of others besides my own. Even though I\u2019m retired and living on Social Security I need to find a way to help others. I\u2019m using the extra time God has given me to bless others each day and when I can I give with a cheerful heart.<\/p>\n
Prayer My Lord show me how to use all that you have given me to help others in your name. Bless me today as I walk along to be there for someone who needs you.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
