{"id":7939,"date":"2025-05-03T13:49:29","date_gmt":"2025-05-03T13:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gettingoverdepression.org\/?p=7939"},"modified":"2025-05-03T13:49:29","modified_gmt":"2025-05-03T13:49:29","slug":"gods-grace-is-sufficient","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gettingoverdepression.org\/index.php\/2025\/05\/03\/gods-grace-is-sufficient\/","title":{"rendered":"God\u2019s Grace is Sufficient"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scripture 2 Corinthians 12:9 And He said to me, \u201cMy grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.\u201d Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. <\/p>\n<p>Observation: I tell others that I still suffer from depression and I believe that is God\u2019s will for me.  I\u2019m able to control it through prayer and God has given me a calming spirit.  I believe God doesn\u2019t take it away so that I need to stay near and that I still can relate to those I speak to that are suffering from it.  It is also a great reminder that God\u2019s grace is sufficient no matter what I\u2019m going through.  I know He loves me, He\u2019s in control of my life and this place isn\u2019t my home I have a home with Him forever.<\/p>\n<p>Application: I need to stay focused on my Lord and my purpose here.  No matter what might come my way I need to know I have all I need in Christ.  God will guide me through any storm I just need to follow him and receive his amazing grace.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer Dear Lord be with me today as I walk.  Give me the knowledge and wisdom to do what is of you.
