I never extend myself to give beyond my comfort.  I feel I\u2019m doing great when I give my tithe yet when additional giving is asked for, I normally let the collection pass.  If I was there at that church and Jesus saw me, He would be disappointed in my lack of giving.<\/p>\n<p>Application: To extend myself in my giving to the point where I need to trust God.  God has given me everything that I have and He only wants a small portion to help others.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer: My Lord take this selfishness away from me and make me more like your Son.
