Scripture: 1 Peter 1:8 though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.<\/p>\n
Observation: My life before Christ had no joy or purpose. When I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior, my life changed almost immediately. My joy came from serving, because I know it pleased Him. I may not see Him, but I feel His spirit and He is always with me. I do love Him and believe He fills me with a glorious joy.<\/p>\n
Application: Even though I pray in the morning and night I need to stop during the course of the day and get with Jesus. Just to meditate a moment on what He has done for me and what He means to me and feel that joy throughout the day.<\/p>\n
Prayer: My Lord, I do love you and believe in you. May your servant show that love to you today by showing it to others in your name.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
