What Master’s Me
Scripture: 2 Peter 2: [19] They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity–for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
Observation: God is supposed to be my master, but do I allow Him to master me? Is it my anxiety and worries that occupy most of my time, my finances and the things I want or want to hold on to. If God is my master I should be listening to him above everything in my life, but I don’t.
Application: To realize anything, but Godly thoughts should be in my mind. Before each decision I should be talking to God and asking him what it is I’m supposed to be doing. God is my Master and I know that in my heart, now my actions and the way others see me should be evident in that.
Prayer: Dear Lord and Master open my heart on how it is you want me to be. I belong to you and want to honor you with this life, show me how.
