Making Disciples

Scripture: Matthew 28: [19] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Observation: Jesus gave me this command to go out and make disciples, to tell others about him so they may have eternal life. No matter what I do the end result should always be to bring others to Christ. My job isn’t to point others to me but to Jesus. To tell others what Jesus did for me and what He wants to do for them.

Application: Look for opportunities to preach the Word of God. Use my testimony and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me on what to say so others can see the love of God in my life. Have a heart for others not wanting any to perish.

Prayer: Dear Lord put in my heart your desires for my life. Teach me how to spread your word and fulfill the purpose you have created me for. Embrace your servant and open my eyes so that I may preach your word and love to all the nations.
