The Spirit of God

Scripture Daniel 5:14 I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.

Observation: Wouldn’t it be great that others knew that the Spirit of God is in me. To live a life that honors God in a way that others can see it. To be like Daniel would be wonderful. He is one of the only ones that there was no fault recorded about him. He gave God the glory always and turned even kings to proclaim that Daniel’s God was the true and living God.

Application: I may never be a Daniel, most of my life’s story has already been written and there are plenty of faults. All I can do is to try to be better today than I was yesterday and proclaim God in anything good in me. God has blessed me with the time to pray and talk to His children and has given me an opportunity to draw closer to Him. May the rest of my life reflect my Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord be with me today as I walk amongst your children. May I be there only for You and that the Holy Spirit will be able to use me to proclaim your greatness. You deserve the best I can be.
