Am I Prepared?

Scripture: 2 Timothy 4 [2] Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage–with great patience and careful instruction.

Observation: Am I prepared to Fulfill God’s purpose in my life. Am I ready to have an answer for those who doubt God’s word? I feel I know what to do and if I flounder God will direct me, but I don’t get into the game. I’m a player that has been there for practice, but am afraid to get into the game.

Application: God has surrounded me with good teachers and teachings and I need to have faith that God will do what He has promised to do if I step out in faith. My job shouldn’t be what I do each day to make it through in this world, but my job should be what God has put me here for. If I put as much effort into my spiritual and eternal job as I do this worldly one I would be saving souls.

Prayer: Dear Lord you are my Father, my master and my boss. Tell me what you want me to do and give me the strength and courage to do it in glory and honor to you.
