America has Forsaken the Lord

Scripture Jeremiah 15:6 You have forsaken Me,” says the LORD,
“You have gone backward.
Therefore I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you;
I am weary of relenting!

Observation: America has forsaken the Lord we have become evil and don’t keep God’s commands or worship Him. There seems to be only a remnant left who honor God and we seem to be drifting away. This country has gone backwards from where we were years ago and I’m not sure why God is waiting. We deserve God’s wrath for all that we have done and I believe the time is coming.

Application: I need to be ready and keep my Lord’s commandments and directives in my life. I need to do all that I can do to help others see the light of Christ, repent and draw close to God. I can’t sit back, but I need to be a light in this dark place, but first I need to keep myself from evil and be obedient.

Prayer Dear Lord forgive us if You can. We have strayed so far from your word and do evil. Open my heart to what You desire of your servant, command me to do your will.
