Scripture Ezekiel 10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’s glory.

Observation: One thing we don’t see in these wicked days is the glory of the Lord. I wonder if that is because we don’t look for it since we are so distracted by the evil that surrounds us. God is never changing and is omnipresent so He is all around, but how often do we look for Him. To see anything, we need to focus on it and to see God’s glory we must do the same.

Application: I need not only seek God’s glory, but to also glorify God. He needs to be the most important thing in my life and He needs to rule this life He has created. My job is to help others see God’s glory and that will give them Hope. I get to spend all eternity with my Lord and I need to grow close to Him now to build a better relationship. I need to seek His glory.

Prayer My Lord, you know me better than I know myself. I’m very easily distracted and my mind wanders constantly. Help me stay focused on You and the purpose You desire for me to fulfill while I’m here. May I glorify You to others.

Scripture Ezekiel 9:10 And as for Me also, My eye will neither spare, nor will I have pity, but I will recompense their deeds on their own head.”

Observation: Some people think that God is only love and would not harm, not even those who do evil. God is just and hates sin and that is what is happening in this world today. All the evil that people do will be on their heads unless they turn to Jesus for forgiveness. You can see the pride in these evil people and that Satan has them under his control.

Application: Do my best to get the word of God out. Help those that might be on the fence to receive Jesus as their Lord and savior. Go where the Holy Spirit leads me and do as I have been commanded. I have one job to do and that is to be obedient to my Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord please take the focus off of me and open my heart to do what You have called me to do. Continue to guide me on this quest and that I may complete it to your liking. Today may I do something that will bring a smile to your face.

Scripture Ezekiel 8:17 And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose.

Observation: You can look around and see the abominations that are being committed. How can a just God condone these actions? He can’t. We will pay the price for the violence, abortions, evil and disregard for our God. It’s not if, but when this will happen.

Application: I need to continue to try to reach people for God. To do whatever God calls me to do. I need to spend more personal time with Him and know what He desires. To continue to read the Word and journal to understand my place in this time.

Prayer My Lord, I know you can’t forgive the abominations that are being done against You. There are still your children here to do your will in our lives. Please guide us to glorify you and to bring others to you.

Scripture Ezekiel 7:19 ‘They will throw their silver into the streets,
And their gold will be like refuse;
Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them
In the day of the wrath of the LORD;
They will not satisfy their souls,
Nor fill their stomachs,
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.

Observation: Today it seems like the only thing that matters is money. Satan has used it to buy chaos, death and division in our land. The rich do as they please and don’t even make excuses anymore for the evil that they do. There will be a time when it’s too late and Jesus will come for His people and money will not buy their way out of hell.

Application: I need to stop striving for money, knowing God will take care of me. I don’t need things, what I need is guidance from God. I need to use what God blesses me with for His glory and to share His love with others. I need to know my possessions aren’t really mine, but are gifts from God on loan to share with His children.

Prayer My Lord take any selfishness from me and help me be generous. May I not be focused on the things of this world where rust and moths destroy, but build up treasures in Heaven.

Scripture Ezekiel 6:10 And they shall know that I am the LORD; I have not said in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them.”

Observation: The time is coming when Jesus will return to this mess we made. Every atheist and other religions will know for sure on that day that God is our Lord and creator. There will be no one arguing, but begging for mercy. A mercy that will not come. We all have been given the same opportunity to repent and turn to God.

Application: God is just and everyone has had the opportunity to confess that Jesus is Lord and time is running out, I need to do whatever God has called me to do to open the eyes of those that have turned their back on God. I need to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me to touch the hearts of those that haven’t received Him as Lord and Savior.

Prayer My Lord I am your servant. I need the Holy Spirit to guide me each day. Please calm my thoughts and evil ways that I may be of use to You. I’m here only to serve.

Scripture Ezekiel 5:15 ‘So it shall be a reproach, a taunt, a lesson, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Observation: This was God speaking to Ezekiel about Israel and what He plans to do because they had turned away from His commands and was worshipping idols. America is doing the same thing. We are engulfed in evil and we have strayed so far from God’s commands that we might be under the same judgement. Unless we turn from our evil ways we deserve God’s wrath.

Application: Do my part by honoring God and His laws in my life. Share Jesus with others about His saving grace. Pray for this country every day and encourage others to do the same.

Prayer My Lord we are not worthy of your love mercy and patience. Guide this country to find You again and if it is time to come home and spend all eternity on the new earth, I can’t wait. I love you Lord direct your servant.

Scripture Ezekiel 4:13 Then the LORD said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”

Observation: This was God’s judgement against Israel. He drove them out of the land and they would live in their transcreation against the Lord. This could be what is coming for America if we don’t repent from our wicked ways. We may not be driven out of this country, but the country can change so much that it won’t be the same. Socialism could take over depending on leadership and can be turned to waste.

Application: I need to do whatever I can to keep America a republic and to tell others to do the same. The only way that can happen is through prayer, that God would forgive us for our wicked ways and His children would repent. I need to do whatever part God calls me to do.

Prayer Dear Lord help us please. We don’t deserve your mercy and forgiveness, but please Lord guide us on what You desire of us. May we glorify Your name.
