Scripture Ezekiel 3:19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Observation: We are commanded to warn the wicked people around us about Jesus and if we don’t their iniquity will fall on us. It’s so easy not to say anything and at times we want some of the evil people around us to end up in hell, but that is not the will of our Father. He wants to make sure everyone hears His word and if then they want to reject it, that will be their decision. Hell is a place we can’t even imagine how terrible it is and it last forever.

Application: I need to do my best to tell everyone God puts in my path about Jesus and His saving grace. To pray with whomever wants pray and to be ready to tell others about the love of God and the special place He has created for us to live with Him forever.

Prayer Dear Lord my heart is full of hatred and anger and I think terrible thoughts of those that are against You. Soften my heart and give me wisdom to fulfill the purpose you have created me for and that you will grant my ways with success.

Scripture Ezekiel 2:6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

Observation: Today our country seems to be falling apart. There is so much hatred and angry words and people don’t think before they talk and everyone has an opinion. The Christian seems to be the only one quiet in this dark time afraid of what others might think, do or say. We have the only Word that is true and we need to tell others God’s word no matter what the cost.

Application: I need to continue to go to the beach and do what is right. I need to be in prayer and in the word so I know what to do and say. I need to submit my fear to the Lord and that He may use me in any way that He feels that is right. I can’t allow fear to stop me from doing God’s word.

Prayer My Lord help me please do your will in this life. I lay my anxiety and fear before you, please take it from me and give me the courage and strength that I will need to glorify You.

Scripture Ezekiel 1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

Observation: Ezekiel was describing his dream and in it he saw the glory of God. When he was in His presence the first thing he did was fall on his face in reverence. He described God’s glory like a bright rainbow surrounding him.

Application: I’ve experienced God’s grace, love and mercy. I can only imagine what His glory will be. Each day I try to glorify God in what I do, because He deserves everything that I have and everything should be used for His glory. I believe we are called to show God’s glory along with His love, grace and mercy to the world. So many people may not experience firsthand God’s glory unless they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our job is to help make that introduction.

Prayer My Lord I wait for the day that I’m in your presence and experience your glory first hand. May I finish this race you have set me on in a way that will glorify your name. I’m your servant help me serve you.

Scripture Lamentations 5:8 Servants rule over us;
There is none to deliver us from their hand.

Observation: The original idea of our political leaders was to serve the country. Their job was to help protect our freedoms and keep the country safe. That surely has changed over the years. Our so-called leaders are accumulating wealth while in office, making laws that benefit their benefactors and hurting the people of this nation. Somehow the table has turned and we have become the servants of this corrupt leadership and are at their mercy.

Application: I need to make a stand and vote for the people that will do the best. I need to make my position clear to others, instead of hiding my picks. If I need to use bumper stickers, flags or signs I should get them and display them proudly. My leader should always be Jesus and I need to back the candidate that will support my Christian values.

Prayer My Lord our country has drifted so far away from You and has become evil in your sight. Help direct us to pick the candidates that will honor you above all, that we may again become one nation under You. You are our King.

Scripture Lamentations 4:5 Those who ate delicacies
Are desolate in the streets;
Those who were brought up in scarlet
Embrace ash heaps.

Observation: I just wrote in a post about Venezuela when they went under Socialism what happened to this prosperous country. This scripture verse describes it. I feel as if God has called us to pray to Him as in 2 Chronicles 7:14, because without Him we could lose this country.

Application: I feel that God is calling me to pray for my country and has directed me to have another T-shirt made that states “Will you pray with me for America?” I plan on getting it made today and start wearing it as soon as it is done.

Prayer Dear Lord only You can save this country and I pray that You will have mercy. We have turned evil and don’t deserve your grace, but please listen to the prayers of your saints and heal our fallen land.

Scripture Lamentations 3:39 Why should a living man complain,
A man for the punishment of his sins?

Observation: We don’t like to be punished, whether we deserve it or not. We’ll go to great lengths to justify or case, but in our hearts, we know we are wrong. However punishment is good, we learn from our mistakes more quickly. If we never punished our children they would be totally out of control.

Application: Instead of complaining about being punished for the wrong that I do, I need to repent and understand what I did and to never do it again. These are opportunities for me to be more like Jesus and to fulfill the purpose God has created me for.

Prayer My Lord I think at times I’m doing well, but know in my heart you deserve so much more. May I not try to cover up my sin, but accept my punishment and learn not do to it again. If you didn’t love me as much as you do you wouldn’t discipline your child.

Scripture Lamentations 2:16 All your enemies have opened their mouth against you;
They hiss and gnash their teeth.
They say, “We have swallowed her up!
Surely this is the day we have waited for;
We have found it, we have seen it!”

Observation: This could be America. Our enemies both domestic and abroad have been waiting for the day that we lose our independence. They want us to suffer and be part of the one world order and take our riches. We have been disobedient to our God and unless we repent, humble ourselves and seek His face and beg for forgiveness and mercy our enemies may have their way.

Application: God has put on my heart to pray 2 Chronicles 7:14 and to pray for my country. To encourage others to pray and seek God’s face that He may show favor to us. To pray for our President and his family that they will be kept safe.

Prayer Dear Lord I humbly come before you. Draw me close to You that I will know You better. Show me any wickedness in my heart that I may repent. Please Lord save this country and that we will turn back to You. Only You can do this, please heal this land.
