Scripture Daniel 3:25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

Observation: I look back on my life and how God has protected me through all types of danger. It’s a miracle that I’m still here and something that I shouldn’t take for granted. I tried to take my life six different times and Jesus was always there even though I didn’t know Him then. I don’t understand His love and protection for a sinner like me.

Application: Even though I may never know the depths of His love that can’t stop me from trying to understand. I need to study and pray that I may know what His will is for my life. I need to be bold like Daniel’s friends and never forsake God and to stand firm in His love.

Prayer My Lord thank you for always being there for me. For your loving and saving ways. Please make it known to your servant on what You desire of me and that I would be obedient to all of your commands. I’m so blessed to serve a Master like You.

Scripture Daniel 2:47 The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

Observation: Daniel gave God the glory when he revealed Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. He could have taken credit for himself, but Daniel’s goal was to glorify God and make the king aware there is a true God. Everything Daniel did was to give glory to God and to make others aware of His presence.

Application: That is my purpose to make others aware of our magnificent God, but I have my moments when I try to steal the credit and make myself look better than I am. I need to be focused on why I’m here. I’m a servant of my Almighty Father and Lord Jesus. As a servant I need to introduce others to my master and serve them in God’s name.

Prayer My Lord and Master show me how to finish this race in a way that is pleasing to You. May I live in a way that others will see you through my actions and that I will humbly step back and introduce You to them. I love you Lord draw me closer to You today.

Scripture Daniel 1:17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Observation: All of our abilities are given to us by God, but what we do with them? He left it up to us. We can continue to develop those gifts and glorify God with them or we can use them for our benefit. The skills we have are our talents in the parable of the talents. We can choose to invest and multiply them or bury them. What kind of servant do you want to be?

Application: God has blessed me with different abilities. I’m able to organize and visualize things, able to talk to strangers and I’m willing to do what God calls me to do. These are things that God has given me and not something that I have developed by myself. Whatever I accomplish that is good needs to glorify God and that He gets the credit.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for trusting me with the gifts You have given me. Use them today to please You and to help someone who would benefit from them. I’m here as your servant use me as You will.

Scripture Ezekiel 48:35 All the way around shall be eighteen thousand cubits; and the name of the city from that day shall be: THE LORD IS THERE.”

Observation: Wouldn’t it be great to live in a city called The Lord Is There? I look around this nation and it feels as if God is nowhere, because America has rejected Him. We the children of Christ need and to be that city and we need to light up this dark place. Jesus told us that Satan was the ruler of this world, but He doesn’t rule God’s children. Our cities might not say it but our homes should say, the Lord is here.

Application: I get so caught up in this world and I worry so often showing my lack of faith. In my life I want people to see that the Lord lives within me and that there is hope for others. Tomorrow, I give my depression testimony and my prayer is that someone will see that God is here.

Prayer My Lord forgive me I’m so weak. Give me strength to live the life You desire for me and that your people who are called by your name will rise up to tell the world The Lord Is There.

Scripture Ezekiel 47:22 It shall be that you will divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who dwell among you and who bear children among you. They shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel; they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

Observation: God is telling Israel if a stranger decides to dwell among them that they should be treated equally and be given an inheritance in the land. The same thing for America. If a stranger becomes a citizen of this nation they will have the same right as any other citizen. It doesn’t matter that the family has lived in America for generations or if they just came from another country and now our legal citizens, we are all Americans. The same is true in God’s Kingdom. God doesn’t care from where you came, He only needs to know that you received His son as your Lord and Savior and now a citizen of heaven.

Application: I need to see everyone as a possible brother and sister in Christ and make them feel welcome into the family of God. My job is not to judge but to love and spread the gospel that others may see the love of God.

Prayer Dear Lord help me be the man that will please You. Thank you for bringing me into Your family and thank you that I don’t feel as an adopted child, but someone who feels that I was always supposed to be Yours.

Scripture Ezekiel 46:18 Moreover the prince shall not take any of the people’s inheritance by evicting them from their property; he shall provide an inheritance for his sons from his own property, so that none of My people may be scattered from his property.

Observation: Our government continues to tax the people including an inheritance tax. We are taxed and things are being taken away from us because of poor management. The one thing that can’t be taken away is our inheritance in Heaven where neither rust or moth can destroy. We need to start being more focused on the inheritance we have been given by our Lord and less building up treasures here on this earth

Application: I’m always worried about money and yet God has blessed me so abundantly. I have a beautiful home, the most amazing woman as my wife, and blessed with family. My time should be spent in glorifying God and remind others of the blessings that they have in God.

Prayer My Lord thank you for all that you give me and all that You do for me. May I always show my gratitude to You and share that gratitude with others. Thank You Lord.

Scripture Ezekiel 45:9 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering, execute justice and righteousness, and stop dispossessing My people,” says the Lord GOD.

Observation: The Bible is timeless and what was happening in Ezekiel’s day is happening now. Our leaders have become so corrupt and have allowed the violence and plundering in our country to escalate. Most of our leaders have not executed justice or righteousness and have allowed Americans to suffer the consequences. Our God watches over us and commands them to stop. It will be interesting to see what happens to them if they don’t.

Application: My greatest strength is to pray for our nation. I need to do what I can as a citizen of this great land. I’ll vote, sign recall petitions to remove the evil and make others aware of any facts that I might have to help resolve any issues. Times like this can honor God when we put our full trust in Him.

Prayer Dear Lord I stand on your promise 2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
