We Are Called to Serve

Scripture Matthew 20:28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Observation: Jesus set the example of what we are called to do, serve. When I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior that was the first thing that He put on my heart, that I needed to be serving. For the first time in my life, I was doing something for others and it felt great. God continued to put opportunities in my path to be used by Him.

Application: My joy has always come when I was serving in my Lord’s name. I need to continue doing that until He calls me home. The prayer ministry God has given me is my way to serve others that might be hurting and need to hear what God has to say to them.

Prayer My Lord I’m your bondservant and look forward to what You call me to do. You gave me a heart for service and I thank you, please continue to use me to do that in glory and honor to You.
