Scripture Ezekiel 7:19 ‘They will throw their silver into the streets,
And their gold will be like refuse;
Their silver and their gold will not be able to deliver them
In the day of the wrath of the LORD;
They will not satisfy their souls,
Nor fill their stomachs,
Because it became their stumbling block of iniquity.

Observation: Today it seems like the only thing that matters is money. Satan has used it to buy chaos, death and division in our land. The rich do as they please and don’t even make excuses anymore for the evil that they do. There will be a time when it’s too late and Jesus will come for His people and money will not buy their way out of hell.

Application: I need to stop striving for money, knowing God will take care of me. I don’t need things, what I need is guidance from God. I need to use what God blesses me with for His glory and to share His love with others. I need to know my possessions aren’t really mine, but are gifts from God on loan to share with His children.

Prayer My Lord take any selfishness from me and help me be generous. May I not be focused on the things of this world where rust and moths destroy, but build up treasures in Heaven.

Scripture Ezekiel 6:10 And they shall know that I am the LORD; I have not said in vain that I would bring this calamity upon them.”

Observation: The time is coming when Jesus will return to this mess we made. Every atheist and other religions will know for sure on that day that God is our Lord and creator. There will be no one arguing, but begging for mercy. A mercy that will not come. We all have been given the same opportunity to repent and turn to God.

Application: God is just and everyone has had the opportunity to confess that Jesus is Lord and time is running out, I need to do whatever God has called me to do to open the eyes of those that have turned their back on God. I need to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me to touch the hearts of those that haven’t received Him as Lord and Savior.

Prayer My Lord I am your servant. I need the Holy Spirit to guide me each day. Please calm my thoughts and evil ways that I may be of use to You. I’m here only to serve.

Scripture Ezekiel 5:15 ‘So it shall be a reproach, a taunt, a lesson, and an astonishment to the nations that are all around you, when I execute judgments among you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Observation: This was God speaking to Ezekiel about Israel and what He plans to do because they had turned away from His commands and was worshipping idols. America is doing the same thing. We are engulfed in evil and we have strayed so far from God’s commands that we might be under the same judgement. Unless we turn from our evil ways we deserve God’s wrath.

Application: Do my part by honoring God and His laws in my life. Share Jesus with others about His saving grace. Pray for this country every day and encourage others to do the same.

Prayer My Lord we are not worthy of your love mercy and patience. Guide this country to find You again and if it is time to come home and spend all eternity on the new earth, I can’t wait. I love you Lord direct your servant.

Scripture Ezekiel 4:13 Then the LORD said, “So shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.”

Observation: This was God’s judgement against Israel. He drove them out of the land and they would live in their transcreation against the Lord. This could be what is coming for America if we don’t repent from our wicked ways. We may not be driven out of this country, but the country can change so much that it won’t be the same. Socialism could take over depending on leadership and can be turned to waste.

Application: I need to do whatever I can to keep America a republic and to tell others to do the same. The only way that can happen is through prayer, that God would forgive us for our wicked ways and His children would repent. I need to do whatever part God calls me to do.

Prayer Dear Lord help us please. We don’t deserve your mercy and forgiveness, but please Lord guide us on what You desire of us. May we glorify Your name.

Scripture Ezekiel 3:19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Observation: We are commanded to warn the wicked people around us about Jesus and if we don’t their iniquity will fall on us. It’s so easy not to say anything and at times we want some of the evil people around us to end up in hell, but that is not the will of our Father. He wants to make sure everyone hears His word and if then they want to reject it, that will be their decision. Hell is a place we can’t even imagine how terrible it is and it last forever.

Application: I need to do my best to tell everyone God puts in my path about Jesus and His saving grace. To pray with whomever wants pray and to be ready to tell others about the love of God and the special place He has created for us to live with Him forever.

Prayer Dear Lord my heart is full of hatred and anger and I think terrible thoughts of those that are against You. Soften my heart and give me wisdom to fulfill the purpose you have created me for and that you will grant my ways with success.

Scripture Ezekiel 2:6 “And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

Observation: Today our country seems to be falling apart. There is so much hatred and angry words and people don’t think before they talk and everyone has an opinion. The Christian seems to be the only one quiet in this dark time afraid of what others might think, do or say. We have the only Word that is true and we need to tell others God’s word no matter what the cost.

Application: I need to continue to go to the beach and do what is right. I need to be in prayer and in the word so I know what to do and say. I need to submit my fear to the Lord and that He may use me in any way that He feels that is right. I can’t allow fear to stop me from doing God’s word.

Prayer My Lord help me please do your will in this life. I lay my anxiety and fear before you, please take it from me and give me the courage and strength that I will need to glorify You.

Scripture Ezekiel 1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
So when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

Observation: Ezekiel was describing his dream and in it he saw the glory of God. When he was in His presence the first thing he did was fall on his face in reverence. He described God’s glory like a bright rainbow surrounding him.

Application: I’ve experienced God’s grace, love and mercy. I can only imagine what His glory will be. Each day I try to glorify God in what I do, because He deserves everything that I have and everything should be used for His glory. I believe we are called to show God’s glory along with His love, grace and mercy to the world. So many people may not experience firsthand God’s glory unless they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Our job is to help make that introduction.

Prayer My Lord I wait for the day that I’m in your presence and experience your glory first hand. May I finish this race you have set me on in a way that will glorify your name. I’m your servant help me serve you.
