Scripture Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Observation: We forget sometimes that God is in our midst and not distant seeing things from afar. God knows everything that is happening and that He loves his children and will save us when the time comes. His love is better than a father and when He sees us in gladness it pleases him and He comforts us in His love.

Application: I must never forget my Heavenly Father is always with me through the Holy Spirit, He guides me each day. He wants me to be joyful in the fact that He cares and loves me and I must reflect that love to others in His name. When I get anxious, I need to be still and know that God is always there protecting me and guiding my life.

Prayer My Lord thank you for all you do for me and that you love me when I slip into sin. Keep me focused on your desire for my life that I would be a light in this dark world and introduce You to others. I don’t understand your great love, but that I would receive it and love You.

Scripture Zephaniah 2:3 Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth,
Who have upheld His justice.
Seek righteousness, seek humility.
It may be that you will be hidden
In the day of the LORD’s anger.

Observation: This is calling God’s children to seek righteousness and humility. That during this time we can be hidden from God’s anger and He will show us mercy. As God’s children we are called always to be humble, loving and serving unto the Lord. He should always be the focus of our love and we are called to be obedient in all that God calls us to do.

Application: I believe the rapture is coming soon and that everything is in place. I need to do whatever God calls me to do to be righteous that others may see me and that I will have the opportunity to point them to my Lord. I feel time is short and I need to be obedient in what God is calling me to do.

Prayer Dear Lord apart from you I can’t do anything, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Strengthen me today so that I may do your will and be there to serve others in your name.

Scripture Zephaniah 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold
Shall be able to deliver them
In the day of the LORD’s wrath;
But the whole land shall be devoured
By the fire of His jealousy,
For He will make speedy riddance
Of all those who dwell in the land.

Observation: This is a reminder that no matter what you acquire on this earth it will be gone at your death. Bill Gates and George Soros will not be able to buy their way out of hell. I believe the day is coming very soon when this earth will be devoured including all the people.

Application: God calls me to do to warn those that don’t know Him that this day is coming. Live a life that might draw people close to me that I may tell them the truth about the last days. Prophesies have been fulfilled and we wait for the sound of the trumpet.

Prayer Dear Lord please use me as you will. Open my eyes to the plan You have for this life. May your servant be ready for when You call me home. I love You Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit help me live a life that shows that.

Scripture Habakkuk 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Observation: This is what everyone’s focus should be our God. We should be rejoicing in our God and to trust in Him no matter what might happen here. He is the God of our salvation and when we are gone from this earth we will be entering home. With all the evil around us He is our God and He deserves our love, worship and trust.

Application: To be focused on God no matter what I’m doing I know I’m pleasing God. God is my joy and nothing on this earth should distract me from that joy. I need to show the peace and joy I get from God to others by the way I act and treat them.

Prayer Dear Lord help me get through another day and that I will rejoice knowing I belong to You. Show me how to serve others and introduce them to my Father. I’m your creation, servant and child command me in what will please You today.

Scripture Habakkuk 2:4 “Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.

Observation: That was me, proud. I thought I needed to try to be proud, because I hated myself so much and needed to look for things within myself that might be worthy. I would put others down to lift myself up, but that didn’t work. God showed me the way that He wanted to live my life and gave me strength to do it. Now each day I live by faith, not in me, but in my Lord.

Application: I need to continue to increase my faith and stay close to my God. My strength comes from my Lord and if I stay close and read His word my faith will grow. I need to live by faith and trust in God.

Prayer My Lord You know your servant and how weak and distracted I get. Help me increase my faith and grow close to You. I love You and want to please You each day.

Scripture Habakkuk 1:13 You are of purer eyes than to behold evil,
And cannot look on wickedness.
Why do You look on those who deal treacherously,
And hold Your tongue when the wicked devours
A person more righteous than he?

Observation: So many people are questioning God during these evil times. People are living in fear and expect an answer to why this is happening. We have allowed all the evil that we see today to happen, we are the ones listening to wicked leaders and not holding anyone accountable for these actions. God is just and knows everything including what is best for His children. These things have been prophesied and should not be of any surprise to us.

Application: This is not our home and I need to do whatever God commands me to do to open the eyes of others to this. To continue to go to the strand every day as God continues to put people into my path and speak what He puts on my heart. I need to be humble and allow the Holy Spirit to work through me.

Prayer My Lord and my God use me today to open someone’s eyes to You. Humble me before you that I will repent of any unholy thing in my life and that I will serve you in the manner You desire.

Scripture Nahum 3:17 Your commanders are like swarming locusts,
And your generals like great grasshoppers,
Which camp in the hedges on a cold day;
When the sun rises they flee away,
And the place where they are is not known.

Observation: With all the trouble around, us where are our leaders that are supposed to protect us. They have become the enemy and hide in their mansions and make rules that no one can follow. No one calls them accountable for their wickedness and they deceive the people. They have become Satan’s helpers and are trying to destroy this nation.

Application: There is little one can do against these evil people. I need to realize the little I can do and give the rest to God. He knows everything that is happening and he is just. Whether we will see justice here on this earth or in heaven I don’t know.

Prayer My Lord please calm my spirit and take these evil thoughts from me. Forgive me when I demand justice, because I don’t know what justice is. May I only be concerned about my role in all of this and fulfill the purpose You have given to me.
