Scripture Ezekiel 24:16 “Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down.

Observation: We continue to desire the things of this world instead of seeking God. All that we see and have on this earth will be taken away, but if we seek God and His purpose for our lives, we will build up treasures in heaven that we’ll have forever. With everything that is happening now people are losing what they worked for and are falling into depression instead of asking God for direction.

Application: Currently I don’t have a job and my last unemployment check is coming. I’m worried about losing some of the things that I’ve accumulated here on this earth and the luxuries that I have instead of focusing on what God wants me to do. I need to be responsible for taking care of my wife, but the Lord’s calling is the most important thing in my life.

Prayer My Lord you have always taken care of your servant. Use this time you have blessed me with to do your will and desire. I’m here only until you call me home, may this time glorify you.

Scripture Ezekiel 23:29 They will deal hatefully with you, take away all you have worked for, and leave you naked and bare. The nakedness of your harlotry shall be uncovered, both your lewdness and your harlotry.

Observation: This sounds like what is happening now. Our government is out to take away all that we worked for with their new policies and God will let them unless we turn from our wicked ways. We are not fighting back and asking God to intervene. We are not worshiping Him and we allow our churches to be closed. We deserve what is about to come to us if we don’t change and seek God with all of our heart.

Application: I continue to pray for this nation and do what I can. I need to be obedient to all that He calls me to do and be faithful. To tell others to repent and come to the Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord forgive us of our harlotry and sins. Put our focus on you and your commands and place on our hearts an urgency to repent and turn back to you.

Scripture Ezekiel 22:12 In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take usury and increase; you have made profit from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten Me,” says the Lord GOD.

Observation: This describes what’s happening today in our country. Antifa and BLM and others are being paid to destroy this country and hurt other. Our leaders are extorting us and lying to us for their own wealth. They are closing our churches and taking God out of our nation.

Application: I need to always stand in faith and do my best to spread God’s word to others. I need to fight against the rage that is in me, which distracts me from God’s will in my life. I need to know my role in these times and do it to the best of my ability.

Prayer My Lord heal this land. May our enemies be punished according to your judgement and that you will give your children the strength and faith to do what pleases You.

Scripture Ezekiel 21:26 thus says the Lord GOD:
“Remove the turban, and take off the crown;
Nothing shall remain the same.
Exalt the humble, and humble the exalted.

Observation: This scripture is for the leaders that have put themselves above God and people. A time is coming when the ones that have exalted themselves will need to be humble and those that have humbled themselves before the Lord will be exalted. This might not happen on this earth, but there will be a time on the New Earth that everyone will be humbled before the Lord.

Application: I need to practice this on this earth. To be humble before my Lord and others as my God commands me. I’m no better than anyone here, but I retain the greatest title, I’m a child of God and I need to act that way. To serve others as Jesus did and to bow down to my King.

Prayer Dear Lord humble your servant. If I have any feelings of superiority, please remind me who I am and that I will ask for forgiveness. I love you Lord be with me today to show others your love.

Scripture Ezekiel 20:19 I am the LORD your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them;

Observation: God gives us so many chances in this life and His rules are simple. Walk the way God calls us to walk, know, do and keep God’s judgments. All He commands us to do is for His glory and our own good. There is nothing He asks of us that we can’t do and when we do them it brings us joy.

Application: I continue to read God’s word and I know what He desires of me and what His judgements are. I need to do them, just not know them. He deserves everything that I have and yet I give so little to Him. I need to be more obedient in my calling for Christ.

Prayer My Lord I know I can do all things in Christ, help me be close to Him. That my heart will be devoted to You and that I would be guided by the Holy Spirit each day to accomplish Your desires.

Scripture Ezekiel 19:10 ‘Your mother was like a vine in your bloodline,
Planted by the waters,
Fruitful and full of branches
Because of many waters.

Observation: This was about Israel, but it also could be speaking of America. America at one time was strong and if you were an American years ago you were a proud American. As we continued to take God out of our country removing Him from our schools, government and as we turned to abominations instead of His commandments America lost its way. We are now suffering from our unfaithfulness as Satan is taking a front seat in our leadership. God is giving us an opportunity to turn from our wicked ways and repent if we will bring Him back as the leader of this country.

Application: I need to do what I can to help open the eyes of the people God puts in my path. I don’t need to lead them to a political leader but to our Lord. If we turn back to God, He will heal this land who has turned against Him.

Prayer Dear Lord I seek your face and humble myself before You. Hear my prayer as I turn from my wicked ways so that You may hear from heaven and heal this land.

Scripture Ezekiel 18:9 If he has walked in My statutes
And kept My judgments faithfully—
He is just;
He shall surely live!”
Says the Lord GOD.

Observation: This is why Jesus had to come, because we can’t keep ourselves from sinning. We are not faithful and without the Holy Spirit we couldn’t even come close. God knew our hearts and knew we needed a redeemer if we were ever going to see heaven.

Application: Do my best to stay close to God and stay away from sin. Stay in prayer asking for guidance and when I fall, I need to repent and beg for forgiveness.

Prayer Dear Lord I want to spend all eternity with You and I know I can’t do it myself. Please guide your servant to do what is pleasing to you and keep me from sin. I love and need you Lord.
