God’s Purpose and Grace

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1 [9] who has saved us and called us to a holy life–not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Observation: I which I could ignore what I want and let go and let God have His way with me. All the things He has saved me from, I should have been burning in Hell so many years ago if my plan succeeded. God’s grace is beyond my understanding and I can’t see me being worth His grace, but for some reason God wants to use me.

Application: I need to seek God’s face and die to myself and live the life He has chosen for me. I need to get out of the way and submit to my Father’s will so He can accomplish the purpose He has created me for.

Prayer: Dear Lord I thank you for your grace and love for me. I don’t understand how you can love me so much and probably never will. Get these distractions out of my life that I may see clearly what you desire of me so that I may live a holy life in honor to You.
