Scripture Ezekiel 35:13 Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me and multiplied your words against Me; I have heard them.”

Observation: With all of the debates and evil that surrounds us now all I hear is boasting against God. They keep their stand on abortion, keep our churches closed, take God out of our schools and government. God knows what is happening and there will be a judgement that is coming.

Application: Keep God’s word holy and be the example God has called me to be. Get rid of the anger that is in my heart, knowing God is the one to make judgement and not me. Stay positive and focused on my Lord.

Prayer My Lord evil surrounds us and only You can make it right. Please don’t give up on us yet give us an opportunity to turn this country back to You.

Scripture Ezekiel 33:31 So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.

Observation: That is true today. Christians hear the word of the Bible, but we don’t obey what it says. We may on occasion be obedient, but in the long haul we do what we want and disobey God’s Word. We think we know better or we just want what we want. We are so busy building treasures here on Earth we forget the true treasures are being obedient and storing them in Heaven.

Application: I know God’s word and He makes it clear what He desires of me. I must be diligent in doing all that God requires and not just the times that it is convenient for me. I need to hear and obey not for treasures, but out of the love I have for my Father.

Prayer Dear Dad, I don’t understand your love, but I do know what You desire. I’ve heard your words and help give me strength to be obedient to all You desire of me. May I show my love for You each day.

Scripture Ezekiel 31:14 So that no trees by the waters may ever again exalt themselves for their height, nor set their tops among the thick boughs, that no tree which drinks water may ever be high enough to reach up to them.
‘For they have all been delivered to death,
To the depths of the earth,
Among the children of men who go down to the Pit.’

Observation: The scripture is speaking of Egypt a nation at the time that was the most powerful. God was showing even the most powerful nation can’t stand before an almighty God and that He may do as He pleases. At the end of this life is death and we each have a decision to make are we going to spend eternity in Hell or with God in Heaven?

Application: My goal is not just for my soul but the souls of others. There are several scriptures that say unless I warn others that I would be responsible for not telling them about Jesus. I need to proclaim the gospel do anyone that God puts in my path along with the consequences of what happens if they don’t receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. The pit is forever.

Prayer Dear Lord send me to help those who don’t know you. May you be able to use me to spread the word of your saving grace and love. I need you each day to guide your servant to what you want me to do. I love you Lord and want to be obedient in my calling.

Scripture Ezekiel 30:19 Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt,
Then they shall know that I am the LORD.

Observation: I believe God is executing His judgements on this world. We have strayed so far from Him and closer to Satan. God will make it clear that He is the creator and his displeased with His creation. We deserve God’s judgements, because I believe it’s not that Satan has become stronger but God’s children have become complacent.

Application: To do whatever I can to make others aware of what is happening. To pray and seek God’s face to find out what my part is in this time. Do whatever God calls me to do and not to be focused of the things of this World, but be a reflection of God’s glory.

Prayer Dear Lord forgive your children and the lack of zeal we have. Draw us close to You and open our eyes on what You call us to do. We are your servants and desire to please our master.

Scripture Ezekiel 29:15 It shall be the lowliest of kingdoms; it shall never again exalt itself above the nations, for I will diminish them so that they will not rule over the nations anymore.

Observation: This can be America. In the Bible God destroys nations so they will learn a lesson and come back to Him. I pray we are now living that lesson and that this country returns to Jesus. I pray we are getting close to the time when God will end this earth and bring forth a new one.

Application: Whatever God’s decision is I must do what I’m commanded to do. I need to be a light and shine as bright as I can and obey my Lord’s commands. No matter what happens my time is short here and I want to finish my race well.

Prayer Dear Lord I pray for this country and that You will have mercy on us and bring a godly leader for our nation.

Scripture Ezekiel 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
Till iniquity was found in you.

Observation: The day we were created was the last time we were perfect. We came into this world of sin and became sin ourselves. God has given us everything that we need to live a perfect life, but we don’t make it very far until we fall from grace.

Application: I know I will never be perfect, even knowing what I know now. I need to seek God’s grace, mercy and direction to continue this journey on this earth, but when I get home, I will receive the gift of perfection and love.

Prayer Dear Lord help me each day to seek you and your will. To tell others of my perfect Father and to help guide them to you.
