Your Will Father
Scripture: Matthew 26: 39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”
Observation: I’m always asking for the cup to be taken from me instead of focusing on God’s will for my life. My threshold of discomfort is so low and my self centeredness is so great that I’m not looking for what God wants of me.
Application: It’s time to look for God’s will in my life and do to that will. God created me for a purpose and that purpose is not centered in my desires but with his. May my goal each day be to do the will of my Father.
Prayer: Dear Father I don’t need the cup taken from me all I need is to know your will and that it will be accomplished by your power. You deserve all that I am and all that I have use it in glory And honor to you.
