Vessel for Honor

Scripture 2 Timothy 2:21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Observation: My goal is to b that vessel of honor and to be able to be used by my Master. To keep away from the things of this world that I can’t change, but to be devoted to the word and the things God has ordained for me to do. There are things that God has set me apart to do and not be distracted but to accomplish the purpose that I’m here for.

Application: Live a day at a time and keep close to God. Offer my vessel to my Master and do what I’m called to do. To put laziness aside and do the good works He calls me to do and when I mess up not to get discouraged, but ask for forgiveness and continue on my journey.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for this opportunity to be a useful vessel for You. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and guide me as I walk drawing me closer to You. I look forward to spending time with You today.
