Exhort Every Day

Scripture Hebrews 3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

Observation: One thing that God has put on my heart that we live a day at a time and not to worry or think of things in the past or possibilities in the future. It is easier to make a decision or commitment for just one day. As we meet or friends and families we are called to exhort and help them so they can do the same for others. This keeps us from going astray and guides us on the path of God.

Application: I need to continue to live a day at a time and whenever the opportunity comes up to help encourage someone or even to make them laugh. The more I try to bring joy to someone else it always comes back to me and grows me closer to God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Prayer Lord help me be the man You call me to be. May I be an encourager and helper to others. May I be called a peacemaker and do your will each day.
