The Throne of Grace

Scripture Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Observation: How many times to we make that trip to the throne of grace? For me not enough, but I’m getting better. God is not giving us trials to see if we can handle them ourselves, it’s a test to see if we’ll take them to Him. When we come boldly that means we are certain that God can and will help us in our times of need, which for most of us is quite often.

Application: Stay close to God for directions. Always seek His throne of grace when I need help. Let God use me to help others with the grace He gives me. Help others find God’s throne of grace in their time of need.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for your mercy and grace and for being there in my times of need. May those times grow me closer to you and show me how I can be used to help others seek you.
