Scripture Hebrews 1:3 who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Observation: I’ve been watching the Chosen, which is the best show that I’ve ever experienced. It shows Jesus human side and it gives me the opportunity to draw closer to him, But I forget how great He truly is and what He has done for me. The only reason I’m heading to Heaven is because of Him, I was hell bound but He gave me a new path on the narrow road. He has redeemed me and given me a new heart and a renewed mind and He is my Lord that God the Father sent for me.

Application: I need to share this great news of Jesus to others using the gifts and talents that God has given me. I’m called to be light and that is what I’m going to do with the help of the Holy Spirit. Keep Jesus in my heart as a friend but realize He is the ruler of my life and that He calls me for a purpose.

Prayer Dear Jesus thank you for saving me. I know I didn’t deserve it, but it was your desire and sacrifice I’m heading home. I look forward to telling you in one day in person, but until then guide me each day to do the will of the Father so that I will be pleasing in your sight.

Scripture Philemon 1:7 For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

Observation: To be able to be a person that has so much love that it would pour out to others. That our actions and the way we treat others can inspire others to do the same. That is only a feat that can be done through the Holy Spirit. To be that person we would have to stay close to God and be the person He calls us to be.

Application: I need to continue to stay close to God each day giving my life as a living sacrifice so that He can use me the way He desires. Make sure I stay consistent in my walk that others may see and be convinced of my loyalty to my Lord and just by seeing me would bring a smile to their face as I walk.

Prayer My Lord I’m here for you to use. Continue to draw me close to You that I may hear your voice and be obedient to your commands. May others see my light of love for You and them.

Scripture Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Observation: I understand that it is not by good works we are saved but only by God’s mercy through the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus. God however calls us to do good works after we are saved, we are not just to sit by after we received the gift of salvation. Jesus calls us to earn rewards, He wants us to be good and faithful servants and to bear fruit by being obedient to our calling. Good works isn’t for our salvation, but shows our obedience to do the will of the Father.

Application: Each day to continue to search for what God has called me to do. Take time to listen when I pray. Currently God has called me to walk and pray with others at the beach and He always shows me that I’m on the path he chose for me. However, I need to always be open to do anything else that He tells me to do.

Prayer Dear Father thank you for the opportunities You have given me to do the things that please you. May I always be ready to do what you call me to do and that I will always do it with joy in my heart.

Scripture Titus 2:12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,

Observation: There as never been a more important time for a Christian to set an example for the ungodly. We need to be that example God has called us to be of love and compassion for others not being involved in gossip and rejecting evil. We are in control of only one thing and that is us. We can determine how we treat others and how we react to different situations. We need to call on the Holy Spirit to help us lead the lives we are called to live.

Application: I’m having a difficult time staying focused on God with all the evil around me. This is Satan’s last chance to corrupt Christians and make them part of the problem instead of the solutions. I must stay closer to God and ask that any evil thoughts be extinguished and then to be guided to what I’m called to do.

Prayer Dear Lord help me stayed focused on the mission You have sent me on. Please calm my mind and heart. Please walk with me today and open my eyes to the things you desire of me. May I please you today.

Scripture Titus 1:1 Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness,

Observation: A bondservant is a servant who freely gives themself to be a servant forever to his Master. We are no longer our own but belong to Christ and we must obey. Obey is a hard thing to do for so many of us, we serve Christ, but do it on our terms and not his. That is not being a good servant. God loves us and wants to protect us, but we need to be in His will and do our job the way He intended it to be done.

Application: Start each day by thanking God for all He has done and given me. Ask what He desires of me with the time He has given me. He gave me a book of instructions, the bible, and I need to follow them. He calls me to serve Him by serving his children. May I be that good and faithful servant.

Prayer My Lord I give you this day and ask that you command me on what you would desire me to do. May I be pleasing to you as I do my duties and I freely give you this life as a living sacrifice, may it be holy and pleasing to you.

Scripture 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Observation: I’m not sure I’m fighting a good fight and keeping the faith as I should. This has been the strongest year of my life as far as being obedient to God’s calling as I walk the strand talking and praying with the people God puts in my path, but my mind wanders so much and my thoughts are far from pure. The finish line is coming closer and not sure how much time is left in this race and I need God’s help to finish well.

Application: I need to finish well and stay close to my coach, Jesus. This race is a day at a time and I need to be focused on the present and nothing else. Continue seeking my Lord for guidance and to trust Him with my whole heart as I walk today. Stay close to the Holy Spirit and listen more than I speak and be available to others in His name.

Prayer Lord may I be a good fighter and listen to my trainer. May I always have your word in my heart and realize that I’m always in training. Help me keep the faith as I run the race today and may I finish strong.

Scripture 2 Timothy 3:2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Observation: After this scripture the description of what people will be like in the last day goes on. Everything that these scriptures say is true. We have become an evil generation. I can’t imagine Sodom and Gomorrah could be any worse or in the days of Noah could be more corrupt. I’m not sure how much longer God is going to relent putting an end to this world, but we are in the last days.

Application: God has put on my heart to live a day at a time and that each day might be the last. I need to be ready when my Master comes and be doing what I’ve been called to do. I’m so excited to go home, but that is in God’s timing not mine.

Prayer Dear Lord I feel the time is coming close, we have destroyed this earth you have given us. Help me live the rest of my life in glory and honor to You. Be with me today as I walk and put those in my path that you have chosen. I love you my Lord be with me today.
