It Will Be Great to Be Home

Scripture Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Observation: Our lives here are only a journey going home. God has given us rewards for living a life that honors Him while we are here, but this place is not our forever home. All the pain we suffer here is only for a short while, anything we accumulate is temporary, and our joy only comes from God and we get to have an eternity of that.

Application: To live my life for the one that gave me it. Take each day at a time knowing no matter what happens to me is temporary. Help others reach their place in heaven doing whatever God calls me to do. Only worry about the things that I can change and realize I can only change me.

Prayer My Lord Heaven sounds so unbelievable, but I know it is true. May I accomplish all that You desire of me and realize the only thing that I can bring with me is others as I proclaim your love.
