Godly Sorrow
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 7: [10] Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
Observation: Godly sorrow is true sorrow where you wish you never did anything wrong and you want to make amends for the wrong you did. It’s a sorrow that helps you make every effort to be better. Worldly sorrow is you were sorry you got caught.
Application: I need to look at consequences of my actions to God and to others. Are my actions going to be God honoring or self-honoring. However, when I make a mistake and do something against God or others I need to repent and make restitution.
Prayer: My Lord open my eyes to the things you desire and touch my heart and guide me this day.
