A Blessed Invitation

Scripture: Revelations 19: 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write: `Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ ” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

Observation: I normally don’t care to be invited anywhere. I like the freedom of choosing where and when I go somewhere, but this is an invitation I’m not going to miss. I don’t deserve, but because I invited Jesus to come into my life, He has invited me to spend eternity with Him. An invitation of love, how can anyone pass on that?

Application: I need to tell others about this wonderful wedding supper. The more the merrier, since God wants none to perish, but all to be invited. I need to be a light and an invitation to others.

Prayer: My Lord take the focus off of me and put it on what you desire of me. Use me to invite others to your banquet.
