Everyone Will Be Judged

Scripture: Revelations 20: [13] The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.

Observation: I know I have eternal life through Christ, yet I know I will be judged for what I did and what I should have done. It is a sin not to do what I know God wants me to. My laziness will cost me when I enter my Savior’s presence. God has a plan for my life and a purpose for me to fulfill, but He allows me the choice whether to do it or not.

Application: I need to set goals for the things I know I should do. I need to spend time each morning and ask for guidance from my Lord to see what His desires are for my life that day.

Prayer: My Lord open my eyes to your desires. Give me the strength and discipline to fulfill my purpose in glory and honor to you.
