Scripture Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Observation: We have become an evil generation, but I guess not any worse than in the days of Noah or Sodom and Gomorrah. Some refuse to bow down to the God of all creation no matter what is happening. The devil is the ruler of this world and the heart of so many are as hard as a rock and will not give into honoring God.

Application: I meet and pass so many people and I’m sure several of them have that heart of stone. I must treat everyone with love no matter how I might be treated and remember the eternal punishment of those that don’t receive Jesus as Lord and savior. I need to keep the heart of love that God has given me and do what I’m called to do no matter what the circumstances might be.

Prayer My Lord soften the hearts of those I meet today. Use me to speak into their lives and share my testimony of your love in my life. I’m here as your servant use me to help those who need you.

Scripture Revelation 15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying:
“Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are Your ways,
O King of the saints!

Observation: We need to realize that our Go is perfect and we need to stop doubting His Majesty. He is our Lord God Almighty and He is perfect in all that He does. God is our King and as King He rules our lives and knows what is best for us. No matter what we might be going through, our Lord knows and there is a reason and we need to seek Him for guidance and knowledge.

Application: I need to concede to my Lord’s rule in my life. I know He loves me and wants the best for me and there will be trials and tribulations, but that He already has the way out for me. Remember when I pray who I’m praying to the Lord God Almighty and realize the privilege I have that He allows me to speak with Him.

Prayer My Lord God please speak to your servant and command me today to do your will. Be with me as I walk and use me to please you. My goal as always is to love you with all my heart, mind and soul. Holy Spirit help me to grow closer to that goal.

Scripture Revelation 14:7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Observation: There is so much fear in our world now. We fear COVID, our government, inflation, whether we will be able to get what we need and much more in this fallen world. Yet we don’t fear God who can destroy the body and the soul. If we feared Him, we would obey Him. He has given us assurance that He will take care of our needs, not to be anxious and to trust in Him. Fear can be a good thing if it causes us to react to avoid pain and we need to be on God’s grace to avoid that.

Application: I know God loves me beyond anything I can imagine, but I need to fear the idea of doing wrong and not following His commands. Sin has consequences and to avoid paying those consequences I need to stay in His grace and seek God’s will in my life.

Prayer My Lord you know that I love you, but may I be fearful of disobeying you. Draw me close to you and open my eyes to what you desire of me and that I will seek the joy only you can provide.

Scripture Revelation 13:17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Observation: This was written almost two thousand years ago and now we can see what the mark of the beast might be. In some places on the earth, they are using a technology that implants a microchip which will have all of your information including your credit card. If this becomes mandatory to buy what we need the scripture will be fulfilled. Time is coming close.

Application: Knowing that the time is coming when my Lord will return, I need to be busy fulfilling the purpose I was created for. Live a day at a time and be ready for my Master to come. Be aware of what I should be doing and not be lazy, but be focused on my Father’s will.

Prayer Dear Lord I hope today will be the day you take me home. Help me be ready at all times and help those that are struggling to find peace in You. Holy Spirit be with me as I walk and talk to those who need to feel your comfort.

Scripture Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Observation: The devil hates us because we are children of God and our savior is Jesus. We can look around and see what Satan is up to and how he continues to ruin this world and cause pain for Christians. We need to keep in our heart that Satan will loose and the earth will be renewed. We are not sure how long this war will continue to go on, but we know who will win in the end.

Application: To fight Satan all I need to do is follow Jesus every day. To do what He commands me to do and keep God’s commandments. To go through whatever trial I need to go through knowing my Lord is with me and fighting for me. To be a light to those God surrounds me with and to be a good soldier for Christ.

Prayer Dear Lord send me out to the battlefield and give me my orders. May I always be obedient to your commands and know that I’m fighting with you. May I live a life well until I come home.

Scripture Revelation 11:13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Observation: Often times we only give God the glory when we are in our trials. Even the movies only show people praying to God when things are so bad they are no other choices. God should always be on our hearts and not only when we feel He is our only way out of troubles. We should fear God because of who He is and not what He might do to us.

Application: Today as I walk along the strand, I want God on my heart at all times. What I do each day should glorify God and whenever I have the opportunity I need to speak to others about the wonderful Father I pray to each day. My only fear should be that I don’t please Him.

Prayer Good morning, Lord. I’m ready to go out on this beautiful day that You have blessed me with. Dear Holy Spirit be with me and put those you desire me to meet and use me to draw us both closer together to you.

Scripture Revelation 10:6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,

Observation: Sometimes we forget how big our God is. He has created everything including us and owes us nothing, but we owe Him everything. The honor we have to come before Him is unbelievable and that He can love us is beyond our comprehension. How we can put anything before him should be unreal, but we seem to do it all of the time.

Application: God needs to be on the throne of my heart and the first in my thoughts. I need to love the Lord my God with all of my heart, mind and soul each day, He is the reason I exist. I’m called to serve and serve is what I must do and to stay close and allow the Holy Spirit to direct my life.

Prayer Good Morning my Father I dedicate this day to you as I should every day. Use me to help those you desire me to help and speak through your servant that I my honor the creator of all things, the King of the Universe.
