Scripture Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Observation: The only reason I have eternal life is because of Jesus’s love and sacrifice. This was not a small thing but Jesus went through torture and disgrace because of me. He loved me so much that all He wanted to do was save me from my sins so I would be with him for all eternity.

Application: I need to have Jesus in my heart and realize the only reason I’m able to walk the strand is because of his love and protection. He needs to be in my heart when I pray and talk with others and any opportunity I have, I need to share that love with others. Somehow, I’m righteous but only because of Jesus.

Prayer My Lord thank you for a gift that can’t be repaid. I look forward to spending eternity with you and I ask that you use me to help someone you put in my path today to know You..

Scripture Jude 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Observation: How to you keep yourself in the love of God? First know that He loves you more than we can understand, no matter what we do. Look back on how His love saved us and receive His love each day. Being loved this much should change our heart and look forward to the time we get to thank him in person. Live each day as a step closer to home. Thank Him each day that Jesus now resides in our heart and that his mercy will get us home.

Application: I need to keep myself aware of God’s love for me and to share that peace I have with others and that they can also have that peace in their lives. Live each day staying close to God and allow the Holy Spirit to use me at any time. Always be ready for my homecoming.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for loving me so much that you want me with you forever. May I live today as I child loved by his Father and show that love to others. I do love you Lord, guide me on my journey today.

Scripture 3 John 1:6 who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well,

Observation: Am I giving a witness of love? What do people see when they meet me? Do they see someone that has love for them and the love of God? People pass me and I have many opportunities to talk with them, I might pray or talk and joke around with them, but what do they think of the encounters? I pray they feel my love for God and the joy I have when I meet them and that I might have made their day a little more joyful.

Application: Always have in my heart that I’m doing this for my Lord and that He comes first in all things. I’m called to be a witness of His grace and even though I might not talk to them about God that they will sense my love for Him. My desire is to treat others in a manner worthy of God.

Prayer Good morning my God. Guide me on the path you have chosen for me today and have me touch those you put in my path. May I please you in what I do and say and that I make a difference to someone that needs you in their life.

Scripture 2 John 1:2 because of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:

Observation: When we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior the Holy Spirit indwells us, the truth. It will be with us for the rest of this life and then forever in heaven. The truth will guide us and direct us if we allow Him. Even though the truth lives in us we still can reject it and suffer the consequences, but if we allow God to use us and fulfill the purpose we are created for the truth will guide us and give us the joy we seek.

Application: Each day is new and I have another opportunity to be guided by the truth. I have it in my heart and can us it whenever I desire and I need to desire it at all time. The truth will set us free and I desire that freedom in the Lord. I need to take every opportunity today to tell someone else about the truth.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for giving me this priceless gift and may I use it to glorify you today. Use me as I walk and open my heart too those that need you so desperately. May I represent you in a way that will please you.

Scripture 1 John 5:19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

Observation: Jesus as stated before that the ruler of this world was Satan and you can see it more and more. We blame our leaders for all of the corruption, but they only work for the enemy. As long as we are distracted by this world, Satan can hide and not take the blame. No man can defeat Satan only God can. There are only two groups the ones that belong to the world and the other that have been born again and are children of God. Eternal life is given to only one of these groups.

Application: God has called me out of this world to be a disciple for Him. Even though I’m in the world for now I’m called to help guide others out of this world into God’s loving grace. I need to be about my purpose each day being a light and a witness for my Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for the opportunity of another day please use it for your glory. Watch over and guide me as I walk on the strand today and put those you desire in my path that I may accomplish the purpose you have given me.

Scripture 1 John 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Observation: We are of God and belong to Him. God puts people in our life some are brothers or sisters and others do not know God. As we grow closer to God it becomes easier to see the difference. We are called to help others find the truth in Christ and help those that are of our family and to encourage them. We are called to love everyone and to be a light.

Application: On my walks I see both kinds of people and to my brothers and sisters I pray and talk to them and enjoy the time we have together. The ones that don’t know Jesus I try to be a light and talk I n a loving way in hopes I can plant a seed in their spirit. My job is to represent Jesu the best I can and allow the Holy Spirit to use me as He desires.

Prayer Good morning, Lord. I thank you for another opportunity to do your will, use me as you desire and put the words in my mouth and move me to do and say the right things. I pray You enjoy our walk together today.

Scripture 1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.

Observation: The reason I’m able to keep God’s commandments is because of the Holy Spirit. Each day He is with me as I walk He puts others in my path and speaks through me. He guides me through this life now and speaks to my spirit. I have a lot rattling around in my head but all I need to do is go to Him and He keeps me on the path God has chosen for me.

Application: I need to stay in contact with the Holy Spirit or I will go astray. I still have a sin nature if it is left alone and know that I need the guidance of the Holy Spirit to keep me right before my Father. Today I get to spend time with Him and I will allow Him to lead me through the day as long as I stay focused on His desire for my life I will draw closer to God.

Prayer Thank you Holy Spirit for being with me guiding me, keeping me save and teaching me the way to go. Use me again today to do the will of the Father and that I may be pleasing in your sight.
