Scripture Ezekiel 43:2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory.

Observation: Today God’s glory is still shone by the earth, but we don’t look. When I go to the beach and see that beautiful ocean, the mountains in the distance and the beautiful plants God created they all show Gods glory, but we take them for granted. We get used to seeing them but don’t see the magnificence in them and that someone great had to create all these things. There is no excuse to miss His glory we chose not to see it.

Application: When I see these magnificent things and know that’s its God’s glory revealed I need to stop in awe and thank Him for His glory. I need to be more referent when I noticed these magnificent sights and worship Him.

Prayer My Lord thank you for surrounding me with your glory. May I never take it for granted and always take time to point these miracles out to others that they may also glorify you.

Scripture Ezekiel 42:20 He measured it on the four sides; it had a wall all around, five hundred cubits long and five hundred wide, to separate the holy areas from the common.

Observation: Do we have holy areas in our life that we act a different way than we might normally do. Church is normally one of those areas that we have a more holy appearance than normal, but are there other areas. How about work would that be a holy area where we act in a holy matter to represent our God? We should live our whole life as if in a holy area. We should be a light no matter where we go and love the Lord our God with all of our heart, mind and soul and love others as ourselves.

Application: I need to be more careful on what I say and how I act in front of others. I should never be anything but respectful. If kidding around I should never be insulting in any way and should always be generous with my time. When you live in the presence of God that is a holy place.

Prayer Dear Lord always remind me that I’m your servant and representative in this place. That I treat every area of my life as holy and pleasing to You.

Scripture Ezekiel 41:24 The doors had two panels apiece, two folding panels: two panels for one door and two panels for the other door.

Observation: This whole chapter describes the sanctuary and temple. It gives measurements, descriptions of doors, windows and instruments. Everything is very specific and detailed not letting anything to chance. Our God is also precise with each of His children. He has given us gifts and talents, put us in a certain place surrounding with specific people. We are created preciously as we are to do a specific purpose. The only problem is that we have a choice if we are going to be used for that purpose.

Application: I stray at times avoiding the purpose God has created me for. It can be laziness or that I would just prefer to do something else or something easier. I need to stay focused on my calling and purpose from God and not to be so easily distracted. My race is coming to an end and I need to be finishing strongly to get the prize.

Prayer My Lord help me realize all that you desire from me. I’m here only to glorify your name, give me the wisdom and strength to complete the tasks you have set before me.

Scripture Ezekiel 40:4 And the man said to me, “Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you; for you were brought here so that I might show them to you. Declare to the house of Israel everything you see.”

Observation: That is great advice to God’s children. We need to look with our eyes, hear with our ears and fix our minds on God’s commands. We are so focused on the things of this world that we don’t see or hear God’s commands for us. We need to be looking at God and hearing Him above all of the noise of this world.

Application: I need to stop being so involved in the chaos of this world and do what God has called me to do. I need to seek His face and listen to His words and set my mind on Him alone. My only job is to glorify God.

Prayer Dear God I do want to glorify You, but I need your help. I’m so weak and I get distracted so easily that I’m not serving You with my whole heart. Please fill me with the Holy Spirit and make me useful for You.

Scripture Ezekiel 39:7 So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

Observation: If you can replace Israel with America this would be our prophecy. God’s name has been profaned by so many Americans that there is no way God can bless this nation. We as Christians need to tell others about our Holy God so others may come to repentance and be saved. We can no longer stand back and hope someone else will do it, this is our opportunity to earn rewards in Heaven and to glorify God.

Application: I need to continue in any way I can to help others understand our Lord. I’m called to be a light in this world and my actions and words need to proclaim it.

Prayer Dear Lord guide me today to proclaim your name proudly among those you put in my path, I’m your servant and desire you to command me on what You desire of me. I will never deserve your love or be able to pay you back for all that you have done for me, may I just finish this race well.

Scripture Ezekiel 38:10 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “On that day it shall come to pass that thoughts will arise in your mind, and you will make an evil plan:

Observation: There is so many evil plans in our nation today that it is hard to know who the good people might be. This country is torn apart and its citizens are left in despair. Christians are being persecuted and our rights seem to be slipping away. Democrats and Republicans are in a battle to win the white house and the people seem to become collateral damage in this fight.

Application: I’m not sure who will win, but there is so much evil it’s hard to see the good. I have one responsibility and that is to be the best I can be for God. I need to keep my focus on Him and not be distracted by the things around me that are not of God.

Prayer Dear Lord save this nation from the evil around us. Heal this land and that your people will repent and seek you with all their heart and minds.

Scripture Ezekiel 37:3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord GOD, You know.”

Observation: Sometimes we pray to God as if He doesn’t know what is happening or what we might be going through. God knows everything and He works in the way that is best. The country is in such a mess right now we feel God may have turned His back on us, but He will do what is best. He wants His children to seek His face. This is not our world and we are only here for a short period of time and then we go home.

Application: My job is to spread the gospel and to help in any way I can to have others see the love of Jesus. God knows what I’m doing and He knows what is best so I need to seek him always to guide me on this journey.

Prayer Dear Lord I feel lost sometimes and not sure what direction you are calling me to go. Help me again today to stay on the path you have chosen and give me the wisdom I will need to do Your will. I love you and can’t wait to come home.
