Scripture Daniel 12:13 “But you, go your way till the end; for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”

Observation: I know I don’t deserve rewards or an inheritance, but my Heavenly Dad wants to give them to me. He loves me and I don’t understand why, but I knew He does. I know I have a place in Heaven thanks to my Lord and Savior, again another undeserved gift. Rewards are translated wages and what we do for God is our wages. Going down to the beach each day I feel is part of my job, but when I do it God blesses me so much, I would think that was reward enough.

Application: I need to work every day and introduce as many as I can to my boss. It sure doesn’t seem like work and I look forward every day to go there. I worked in the food service industry all of my working years and it came naturally to me and I feel I was very good at it. However, this job fits me even better and I’m a very happy employee.

Prayer Oh Lord, I love You so much and I know You know that. I thank you for the job You have given me to do. May I complete my tasks in a way that always makes you proud. May I open the eyes of any one that you place in my path of the greatest boss ever. May I always strive to be employee of the month.

Scripture Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.

Observation: Everyone seems to be engulfed with all the things that are happening during this election year. People are worried what might happen to this country. People are divided and not sure what to do. No matter what happens there will be an end as there has been throughout history. We need to look forward to the end of this world if you’re a Christian, because that will mark the beginning of eternity for us and that will never end.

Application: I need to be ready each day that the end is coming. I don’t need to worry just be ready. I need to be doing what God has called me to do until He returns. There are so many people that will miss the glory of heaven I need to allow God to use me to reduce that number if only by one.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for building me a room in the mansion. Please use my life to show other my love for the carpenter. Thank you, Jesus.

Scripture Daniel 10:19 And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!”
So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

Observation: It’s so hard for me to believe that I’m greatly beloved, because I know I don’t deserve such a blessing. God calls us to be strong and that He will give us that strength. Our strength comes from our Lord and as long as our focus is on Him and not the world, He will give us the strength we need to do His will.

Application: I need to know that God is always guiding me. I need to stay in prayer and go out with the strength that he has given me and be confident knowing that I’m greatly beloved.

Prayer My Lord I’m yours and as hard as it to understand at times I know that You love me more than I can Imagine. Strengthen me today to do your will and to be pleasing to You. I love you so much show me how I can show You.

Scripture Daniel 9:25 “Know therefore and understand,
That from the going forth of the command
To restore and build Jerusalem
Until Messiah the Prince,
There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;
The street shall be built again, and the wall,
Even in troublesome times.

Observation: There are over 300 prophesies in the Old Testament describing Jesus. This prophesy indicated the exact day that Jesus would enter Jerusalem to claim His kingdom. We need faith to please God, but He gave us proof to His claims. The chances of these prophesies being false is zero. The mathematical calculation is beyond a chance of not being true. God has backed up His claim that His word is true.

Application: To be able to defend God’s word, when necessary, with the fact that God foretold everything that was to come and since the first prophecies came true so will the ones that indicate Jesus return. It’s going to be such a glorious day when He comes back, my job is to help others get ready to go home.

Prayer My Lord thank you for all the many blessings You have given me, but I can’t wait till you come back to get me. Help me today to draw a little closer to you and put someone in my path that I can tell about the hope you give us.

Scripture Daniel 8:17 So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

Observation: Some live this life as there will be no end to it. Almost everything has been fulfilled according to the prophesies in the bible and the end could come at any moment. If we would live our life with that in mind, maybe we would live a better life honoring God so when we do get home God would be glorified.

Application: Live each day on purpose knowing today can be the last. Fulfill the purpose God has created me for and be the example God has calling me to be. My life on this earth is drawing to an end and I want my Lord to be pleased with His servant.

Prayer Good morning, Dad your child is waiting to be told what would please You today. I’ve lived most of my life only wanting to please me and I ask for your forgiveness. Use me today to reach your other kids in glory and honor to You.

Scripture Daniel 7:14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

Observation: Daniel is talking about Jesus and heaven, an everlasting dominion. He’s looking ahead to Jesus’s time here on earth and the gospel, where we are called to be servants. Heaven is forever and we will have the privilege to live with Christ if we receive Him as our Lord and Savior. It’s appears the only reasonable decision to make, but so many will not receive this unbelievable gift.

Application: God has given his children a quest to spread the gospel message to those that don’t know it or can’t believe it. God has watched over me and allowed me to take part in this forever dominion and I need to use all that God has given me to show others the way to it.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for not giving up on me and finally guiding me to You. I can’t wait to get home, but until then use me as You desire to open the eyes of those who don’t know you.

Scripture Daniel 6:16 So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel and cast him into the den of lions. But the king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Your God, whom you serve continually, He will deliver you.”

Observation: Daniel served God continually and that is the same thing I’m called to do, but fail so often. God deserves my best, but that is not what I offer most of the time and yet He still delivers me from evil. I’m only here because of the grace of God and I know He has a purpose for this life He has blessed me with,

Application: I need to be a better servant. I need to be at God’s call at all times and not just when it’s convenient for me. God watches over me every day and blesses me and fills my life with joy when I do what He calls me to do. I need to have the discipline to do His will at all times, He deserves that from me.

Prayer: Father I thank you for this life you have blessed me with and I ask for your guidance each day. Direct me on this journey You have set me on and that I will continually serve You in a way that pleases You.
