Scripture Revelation 6:4 Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.

Observation: The scripture indicates that peace was given to us by God since He will be able to take it away. Our peace and joy come from the Lord and you can already see how peace is being taken away from this earth. We continue to see murder growing in our country, but when all the godly are gone and God’s peace is removed how terrible it’s going to be. Jesus the Prince of Peace will no longer be coming to bring us peace, but the end of things as we know it.

Application: We are called to become peacemakers, the sons of God. As I walk today may I do what God as called me to do and be loving and kind to those I meet. In my home I need to bring peace with no conflict and put the needs of others above my own.

Prayer Dear Holy Spirit guide me to be the man that will be e blessing to God and to others. Help me be a man of peace no matter what might happen today and that I will be pleasing to my Lord.

Scripture Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

Observation: My life should be a new song praising Jesus for my redemption. So often I forget about my Lord’s sacrifice and what He went through so I may be redeemed. I know the man I was and I wasn’t worthy of such a gift as eternal life with my Lord, but He gave himself for me. I should never stop singing His praise.

Application: As I walk, I need to praise God for His sacrifice for me and realize I’m only here because of His grace and love for me. Every opportunity I have I need to speak to others about my Lord and how He gave himself for us.

Prayer Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice that has redeemed me. You are worthy to be the ruler in my life may I always be obedient to you. Put those in my path today that need to hear about your love for them.

Scripture Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Observation: Our Lord is worthy of all we have and everything we have He has created. Our lives should give Him glory, and honor for that is why we were created. God didn’t create us for us but to serve Him and others in His name. We need to stop being selfish with our resources and time and use them to please our God. That is true praise.

Application: God has given me this wonderful opportunity to serve Him each day by going out to the strand to talk and pray with others. By doing this I can show Him glory and honor and draw close to my Lord each day. May I never take this for granted but always go out with the Holy Spirit to glorify my Savior.

Prayer Good morning, Lord, I thank you for another opportunity to honor you. Use me as you desire you created me for this purpose and may I use it to please you today. I love you Lord may I draw nearer to you.

Scripture Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Observation: Each day I’m called to stay close to God and overcome any sinful desires. The only way I can overcome is by leaning on my Lord for help. My goal and desire are to be with Him when this time on earth is over and to be written in the Book of Life. What a wonderful thought that Jesus will confess my name to my Holy Father and before the angels.

Application: To stay away from sin including my thoughts. To live this day to honor my Lord and to fulfill the purpose I have been given. To stay close and allow the Holy Spirit to work through me. My journey is to make it home and fall into the arms of my Lord and Savior so I don’t want to stumble now.

Prayer Good morning, Jesus. Thank you for keeping me safe and allowing me to be with you as I walk the strand today. Help me avoid any sinful behaviors today and help keep my thoughts pure and of you. Look forward as always spending time with you.

Scripture Revelation 2:10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

Observation: Jesus said we will have trials and tribulation and yet we are called to rejoice when we are persecuted for the name of Christ. There is nothing we go through on this earth that God isn’t with us we suffer when we focus on the trial instead of our Savior. God will get us through whatever comes along and then when we do persevere, we get the crown of life when we get home.

Application: I’ve been blessed lately and haven’t undergone any real trial in a while, but that doesn’t mean I won’t. I need to stay close to God and His will for me each day and look for opportunities that He puts before me. I want the crown of life, not because I deserve it but I want that opportunity to put it before the thrown of God.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for the many blessings you have given me in my life. I thank you especially for the walks at the strand and the people you surround me with. Please continue to walk with me, I love spending time with you.

Scripture Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Observation: The only reason I have eternal life is because of Jesus’s love and sacrifice. This was not a small thing but Jesus went through torture and disgrace because of me. He loved me so much that all He wanted to do was save me from my sins so I would be with him for all eternity.

Application: I need to have Jesus in my heart and realize the only reason I’m able to walk the strand is because of his love and protection. He needs to be in my heart when I pray and talk with others and any opportunity I have, I need to share that love with others. Somehow, I’m righteous but only because of Jesus.

Prayer My Lord thank you for a gift that can’t be repaid. I look forward to spending eternity with you and I ask that you use me to help someone you put in my path today to know You..

Scripture Jude 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Observation: How to you keep yourself in the love of God? First know that He loves you more than we can understand, no matter what we do. Look back on how His love saved us and receive His love each day. Being loved this much should change our heart and look forward to the time we get to thank him in person. Live each day as a step closer to home. Thank Him each day that Jesus now resides in our heart and that his mercy will get us home.

Application: I need to keep myself aware of God’s love for me and to share that peace I have with others and that they can also have that peace in their lives. Live each day staying close to God and allow the Holy Spirit to use me at any time. Always be ready for my homecoming.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for loving me so much that you want me with you forever. May I live today as I child loved by his Father and show that love to others. I do love you Lord, guide me on my journey today.
