Scripture Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the LORD,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Observation: We are called to sow righteousness, reap mercy and seek God. It is our choice what we do. We can either obey God’s commands and seek His will for our life and reap eternal life or we can ignore God’s will and reap destruction and misery.

Application: A day shouldn’t go by that I don’t seek God’s will for me. He has given me instructions through His word and guides me each day. I know how to sow righteousness He tells me how and I want to reap His mercy. When He comes, I want to be ready to have God rain righteousness on me.

Prayer Dear Lord, You know me so well and You know how I struggle. There is so much evil in me and only You can direct me to sow righteousness. Be with me today and put people into my path that need to hear from You and use this vessel in glory and honor to You.

Scripture Hosea 9:9 They are deeply corrupted,
As in the days of Gibeah.
He will remember their iniquity;
He will punish their sins.

Observation: Ever since America took prayer out of our schools this country continues to become more and more corrupted. We take God out of our country and kill His unborn children. We tell His children they can decide what gender they are even though God determined it long before. God is just and He won’t let this go on without punishment and this country deserves His judgement.

Application: I pray that our country helps turn this nation from its wicked ways. That we will make every effort to bring God back as our leader and obey His commands. God isn’t looking for sacrifices he wants our obedience.

Prayer Dear Lord I don’t understand how You can forgive the way You do. I’m not sure if this is the end times or you might be giving us another chance to repent. May we turn from our wicked ways and come back to You or bring your children home. I love You, show me how to serve you today.

Scripture Hosea 8:4 “They set up kings, but not by Me;
They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them.
From their silver and gold
They made idols for themselves—
That they might be cut off.

Observation: During this election this seems very appropriate. Are we choosing leaders that will lead by biblical principles or what we think we want? We have chosen very badly in the past and have people in leadership that are trying to destroy God in this country and have been very successful. We need to pray and ask God for direction before voting.

Application: I feel I chose right by my choices. It was easy enough to see what everyone stood for and you can see the evil and good clearly. I pray now that others have chosen wisely and the next four years will be the time this country turns back to God.

Prayer Dear Lord I’m not sure of the day my Savior is going to return to pick up your children. It looks more and more like the end times, but Lord if you are still waiting, please pick the leaders that will use Godly wisdom in their choices and bring this country back to you.

Scripture Hosea 7:2 They do not consider in their hearts
That I remember all their wickedness;
Now their own deeds have surrounded them;
They are before My face.

Observation: There is so much wickedness happening these days it hard to see anything else. I feel most think they are getting away with something since none of the authorities here on earth are doing anything, but God sees them. He sees all of the abortions of the children He was creating, He sees the children that are being abused, people hurting other people, the lies, theft, blasphemies and death that is being caused. There is nothing that can pass by Him without His notice and there will be a reckoning.

Application: When I commit anything that is wicked, I need to confess it right away and repent. I can’t continue in my sin and expect to be forgiven. I need to be the salt of this earth and not allow anyone to be able to call me a hypocrite, but be the light to others that will shine on my Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord forgive me. Even though I don’t commit wickedness, my thoughts are evil at times. Please reach down and change my heart that it would be pure before you. You deserve my very best, help me give that to you.

Scripture Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return to the LORD;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

Observation: This country needs to return to the Lord. We have drifted so far away from Him and have done so much evil. We deserve the trials we have been going through, but if we go and seek His face, He will heal us and this land. He loves us and as a good Father we need to be disciplined and run back to our Dad with repented hearts.

Application: We need to learn to live for our Father. He knows what is best for us and He loves us more than anything on this earth can love us. We need to repent and turn from our wicked ways and live the life He calls us to live.

Prayer Dear Lord my mind is evil and I’m swayed so easily. Please keep me close to you and may I be holy in your sight. Be with me today and lead me on the path you have chosen for me. I’m your creation, servant and child teach me your ways.

Scripture Hosea 5:15 I will return again to My place
Till they acknowledge their offense.
Then they will seek My face;
In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”

Observation: Is God saying until we acknowledge our sins, He will stay put in heaven and not heal our land? 2 Chronicles says the same thing, unless we humble ourselves seek His face and pray, He won’t heal our land. This country has turned our back on our Lord and have done some very wicked things and have tried to remove God from our nation and it looks as if it worked. Fortunately, the scripture states if my people who are called by my name. He knows the world is full of evil and God is looking for just His people to repent and ask for a healing of this nation.

Application: I need to search my own heart to see if there is any wicked ways in me and ask for forgiveness for those things and turn from them and then ask for a healing of this nation. Not sure if this is the end times or if God is allowing us another chance to turn to Him. I need to do whatever God calls me to do and to lead others to our Lord.

Prayer Dear Lord open my eyes to whatever evil I do. Humble me so that I may see it and turn from it so that I may have your forgiveness. At times I feel so righteous, but I know the evil that lies in my heart. Show me what you desire and give me strength to do it.

Scripture Hosea 4:2 By swearing and lying,
Killing and stealing and committing adultery,
They break all restraint,
With bloodshed upon bloodshed.

Observation: This sounds like our nation now. We have drawn so far away from God and have become a godless nation. We’ve taken God out of our schools and government and have closed His churches. We don’t keep his commands and continue to sin to a point that it becomes accepted. Unless we turn from our wicked ways and bring God back into our country we are going to suffer the consequences.

Application: God has called us each to a purpose. He has called me to be available to others with prayer and laughter. It feels wonderful to be able to make others laugh even with a corny joke, but to see the smile on someone’s face is precious not only to me but to my Lord. May I not take this gift for granted, but use it knowing that God gave it to me to give to others.

Prayer My Lord in the past I always wanted to be someone else, but now I see your purpose in my life and I thank you for making me, me. May I continue each day to be the best I can be to glorify You.
