Purchased But Not Sold Out

Scripture: Revelations 5: [9] And they sang a new song:

“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased men for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation.

Observation: Jesus purchased me with his life and saved me from eternal damnation, so why am I not totally sold out on Jesus. He is the only reason I’m sitting here right now writing this. He has blessed me beyond my desires and protects me each day and has set up a new home for me where I will live for all eternity with him. So why am I not living totally for Him?

Application: I need to realize I’m not my own, but owned by my Lord and Savior. My life should evolve around His desires, not mine. My priority should be doing the will of Him who saved me and ask my Father what He desires of me.

Prayer: Dear Lord I am yours and I give you this life as a living sacrifice, may it be holy and pleasing to you.
