Abba, Father

Scripture Galatians 4:6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

Observation: I remember when I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. It’s been over twenty years now. Each day I try to learn more about my Lord and Father and walk closer to them. As my knowledge grows so does my relationship with my Father. God used to be distant, but now I see Him as a loving Father and I can call him Dad.

Application: I need to continue to go out and be about my Father’s business. Doing his will is the best way to understand and grow closer to Him. When it is time to go home I want to know that I will be welcomed in my Father’s house and to be able to draw near to Dad.

Prayer Dear Father thank you for all you do for me. Help me grow a little closer to you today as I walk and open doors that You want me to walk through. I love you Dad can’t wait to come home.
