Scripture Micah 4:5 For all people walk each in the name of his god,
But we will walk in the name of the LORD our God
Forever and ever.

Observation: All of God’s children need to walk in the name of the Lord. That means we must stay away from sin and be a light to those around us. Those that are about to perish walk in the name of other gods such as money, power and self-indulgence. It’s not only here on earth that we will walk with the Lord, but forever and that is where our focus should be that this place is only temporary and we must stay strong against adversity because we will be home soon.

Application: Live today as it might be my last and be ready to be with my Lord. There is nothing on this earth that I desire except to do the will of my God. Stay focused each day and draw closer to what God is calling me to do and do my best to succeed in that.

Prayer My Lord there are so many distractions and I was born a sinner. I need you to guide me through this maze of sin and get me home where I belong. I love you Lord may I show You today.

Scripture Micah 3:2 You who hate good and love evil;
Who strip the skin from My people,
And the flesh from their bones;

Observation: God is talking to the leaders of Israel, but He could also be talking to our leaders today. Now is the worse time in our history that I know of. Our leaders are bought with money and are cheating in this election. They plan on destroying our country and have planned a plague to scare the people. There is nothing but lies in the media and people live in fear of what is happening.

Application: To help those that might not know God and to be the best representative I can be for Him. To continue to pray at the beach and listen to my Lord for direction and what He calls me to do. To encourage my brothers and sisters to use their gifts to help others living in fear.

Prayer My Lord evil is all around and I don’t know what Your plan is and how much longer this is going to go. Put on my heart the part you want me to play and speak to Your servant that I will be obedient to your calling. I’m here only to serve You.

Scripture Micah 2:11 If a man should walk in a false spirit
And speak a lie, saying,
‘I will prophesy to you of wine and drink,’
Even he would be the prattler of this people.

Observation: This has been happening for a while preachers that preach prosperity and that we all deserve to have what we want. This earth is not our home this is where God allows us to earn our rewards to be received in Heaven. If we have an abundance, we should be using that to help others and to spread the true gospel. We are Christians and in that we should be following Jesus’ example.

Application: I need to be more generous with what God gives me on this earth. My money and time should be used to further the kingdom and not my own welfare. I need to be more like my Lord and to be giving of all that He has blessed me with.

Prayer My Lord all that I have is yours. Show me how to use it to glorify You. Give me the heart that will please You and use me today to honor You.

Scripture Micah 1:3 For behold, the LORD is coming out of His place;
He will come down
And tread on the high places of the earth.

Observation: The Lord is coming and He should strike fear on every inhabitant of this world. We have been warned of Jesus second coming and the judgement He will bring and there will be no excuses for our sins.

Application: We need to be prepared because He can come at any moment. We need to be found doing what God has commanded each one of us to do and spread the word of His judgement.

Prayer My Lord I wait for your return. Open my eyes to what you desire of this child of yours. Help me finish this race in the way You desire and be able to hear the words good and faithful servant.

Scripture Jonah 4:3 Therefore now, O LORD, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live!”

Observation: I know exactly how Jonah feels. Most of my life all I wanted to do was end my life there didn’t seem to be any use to it and it was painful for me to go on each day. I’ve counseled people in the past with the exact same feeling, things aren’t going my way so I’d rather quit. We look at our life’s worth through our eyes and not God’s. He wouldn’t have gone through the trouble of making you if He didn’t have a purpose to use you.

Application: I need to find ways to share my testimony of how God opened my eyes to what He wanted of me and not my plans. We are all going to die eventually, but in the meantime, God has a plan for our lives and is going to pay you to do the work, more than you can ever make on this earth. Rewards to be cashed in when we go home.

Prayer Dear Lord thank you for saving me. I don’t deserve your love, mercy and grace, but I’m so grateful that You give it. Open doors for me to share how your love opened my eyes to my worth in serving You.

Scripture Jonah 3:9 Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?

Observation: America like Nineveh deserve God’s judgement. We have become evil in the sight of God and haven’t repented of that evil. Not sure of how many of God’s children are still seeking Him today, but we must pray and fast and beg for forgiveness if this country will continue to prosper. God is a just God and He will decide if He turn and relent.

Application: I’m torn from hoping the rapture comes very soon to giving America another chance to repent from its evil ways. There is so many family members and friends I don’t think will make it through the rapture so I need to do whatever God calls me to do to open their eyes.

Prayer Dear Lord guide me today on what to do and say. Please use me in whatever way pleases You and may I be affective in touching others hearts to your grace.

Scripture Jonah 2:2 And he said:
“I cried out to the LORD because of my affliction,
And He answered me.
“Out of the belly of Sheol I cried,
And You heard my voice.

Observation: The day I tried to end my life 22 years ago was the first time I cried out to God. It was a quiet cry, but He heard me. I suffered all of my life at that time all 46 years of it and never once thought about crying out to God. He heard my cry and lifted me out of the hopeless state of depression. I talked to Him every day now and a day doesn’t go by that He doesn’t hear my voice.

Application: I never let a day go by that I don’t talk to my Dad. Thank Jesus every day for this amazing opportunity He made for me that I may talk to my creator. My Lord sacrificed so much for me to have this honor and never take it for granted.

Prayer My Lord, I thank you for the privilege to speak with You each day. I thank my Lord and savior and the Holy Spirit for making this possible. I ask that You guide me today to do what You desire and may it be done in glory and honor to You.
